Post-Results Reaction

Hey everyone!

Thank you to those of you who were able to play KDDS during the Jam judging period, and to everyone who left us a comment or gave us feedback. It means a lot to myself and the team to see everyone so excited for such a project.

As you likely know, the judging period for Touhou Pride Jam 4 ended on early Sunday morning.

I am happy to say (after the moderators adjusted the scores to account for itch.io's median average) our game placed #4 overall of 31 entries, while also scoring high in use of LGBTQ themes (#2) and writing (#3)!

Considering how polished a lot of our peers were, especially on the visual novel side, to place in the Top 5 of all games is a great achievement.

Our team worked very hard to bring our collective vision to life, and per the ratings and feedback, it seems a lot of you agreed with what we had to say.

This is my first official project as a jammer, and to have gained the respect of such a wonderful community is something I am proud of.  To have such veteran jammers as Aqwa, Sorasu, Demo, Ferdy and Tami jump on board was such a pleasant experience. Their eagerness to contribute allowed for us to give life to this project.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything. We would not be here without you.

We are still working on a post-Jam update for release (hopefully) at month's end. I finished a lot of the QOL programming over the weekend, and am in the process of collecting new assets  from the rest of our team for the re-release currently.

As always, if you haven't played yet, please do while you're waiting for the re-release!

Please wait warmly (or cooly, wherever you are) for the latest update.
